Your Chemistry class?

I will be able to not continue learning some classes next year and I do not know which I should choose.
And one debated topic is weather chemistry is easy or hard.
Up until now, I pretty much understood everything said in chemistry class, however, the teacher told me I was not good at chemistry at all.
And you may think it was privately after the class, but no! He said it aloud during class and so that probably the courses located next to us will get to know, while I answered a question. And I even answered it correctly! This teacher, if not hating me, than at least preferring others, really does not want to give me any good mark!

But, I do not know, if I can trust the teacher telling me I am bad at chemistry class. And now I am stuck.

I know you do not know my specific situation, but maybe you can tell me, if it got a lot harder during a short time, or if it stays mostly the same for years.

It changes. If you want to be a pharmacist, doctor,or something related to chemistry, then you should continue chemistry.
But never change your life goals because of a hater.
If you like it, although the teacher is not good, try it. And like AOOP09 said, if you want to do a profession involving chemistry, do not give up.

The most difficult part is the organic, but i am pretty sure it comes later
I do not have a life goal though. My question really only is if you chemistry got (a lot) harder quickly anytime in school.
#4 Different countries, different curriculums.I can't know if it gets harder.
Normally is gradual. In a nutshell: First you will understand what is the atom, how they are built, the electrons distribution, periodic table, some properties of the elements, bounds. Now you learn a little about chemical reactions, how it happens, what products you get mixing different elements, some „thermodynamics“ how to accelerate the reactions, and some topics more (acids, bases, salts,...) At the end come the organic. The different groups, properties, nomenclature, reactions, and as last some bio-chemistry.

It was more or less what i learned. It may differ from your program.

But chemistry is a very interesting science. If you have some affinity i would recommend.

Edit: the most difficult, for me, was the organic. It looks simple, but there are some trick topics!

Maybe you ARE bad at chemistry, sometimes people tell you stuff at face value.

Regardless, you can always get better at most things. So if you really want to go for chem, go for it.
There is some serious cash there since its not a career choice for most, but its quite lucrative.
And at worst, you can become the new Walter White. So its a Win-Win?
