I am not meaning switch the regular swiss format, but maybe add another format in? I was thinking you play a certain amount of rounds then after that make a knockout bracket just in case you beat the first place player, and you still lost you get another chance in a knockout bracket. I was also thinking could we add team vs. team, or team only tournaments.
I just think it is time to add a little bit more into the tournaments to make it interesting. If you get like the top of players then you get one more chance to get first place, or even I think that if you lose a certain amount of game your out and last standing wins, and that would mean there would be one true champ. If it is a draw they play again until you lose.
