Sense you "Take Back" in rated Games.

Such button actually exists but we hate using it.
Offer a win = resign :<
Glad to see you here, I doubt you remember me, but I do remember you - you are amazing, you helped me a lot, explaining how to create tourneys on playchess.com many years ago.
Too bad you guys delete inactive accounts of players who doesn't renew the yearly subscribtion...
Kind regards,
Jenny, Funkmaus on Schach.de from 2004-2009
I used to accept and ask for takebacks until Magnus did it and just resigned. Later in the interview he said it's part of the game and so he just resigned because he didn't want his opponent to feel obligated to offer a draw or something. He said it's part of the game, it happens and it is what it is so since seeing that interview, I've disabled them. There was some discussion on the Lichess facebook page where people said playing otb, there are some rules as well for mistakes that are made such as the touch rule etc. A Mouse slip is an unfortunate part of online chess but it's something I've learned to just accept as something that might unfortunately happen. I've since mouse slipped and resigned as Magnus did.
