Accusations of cheating

LiChess listed the games and timings of the games concerned and I had been watching all of them. It seems impossible to PM a moderator. I left a message here for one to PM me but they haven't. I have messaged the LiChess e-mail but they won't respond other than the initial he cheated. Not really sure of a way forward. He has played over 600 games with no problem then this happens. So their algorithm is not perfect, fine. So their moderators won't admit to a mistake fine (although somewhat irritating). How long is the lad banned for - no answer. The crazy thing is I was watching so I do know 100% that he wasn't cheating.
First of all this is not an accusation. It is a mark. We do not accuse users of cheating, we mark users that do cheat. It is true that false positives do occur. However, this user was initially marked, then the mark was upheld after an email appeal. This clearly indicates that lichess do not think it's a mistake. Marks are permanent, unless they are removed. Lichess does not tolerate cheating.

Lichess does not list suspicious games or provide evidence to second parties. You are not entitled to have mods message you, or have evidence presented. But, you are of course free to voice your disconcern in the forum.

It is clear that your appeal has been denied and that the account will stay marked. There really isn't much you can do.
The games in question were not sent to me, they were sent to the player who showed the reply to me. The reason for me being involved is a) I was a witness who actually watched him playing the games so 100% can guarentee he wasn't cheating and b) the player is a child. Children, understandably, feel reluctant to get too involved when such situations involved. LiChess would not have know nthey were a child I assume.
" We do not accuse users of cheating, we mark users that do cheat." No you mark users who you think were cheating, no algorithm nor moderators opinions are perfect. Therefore it is and remains an accusation. Marking an account stops them from using the lobby, entering tournaments etc so essentially is a ban. Life bans for anything are pretty harsh but for something as controversial as this is just plain wrong.
You do not know which games lichess found suspicious so I find it hard to believe you can guarantee with 100% accuracy that he didn't cheat. Often marks are applied for older games.

Being a child does not make you exempt from the rules.

Cheating in online chess is a serious problem that demand serious repercussions.
They sent the games/dates to the player. I did not say that being a child makes them exepmt from any rules only that sometimes they are reluctant to challenge the authority of adults themselves.
Lichess sent you the games that were suspicious? And you know for a fact that you were present while those games where played?
Details were sent to the player who passed them onto me. And yes I can guarentee I was present while the games were in progress.
There games are so obviously cheated that I find that hard to believe.
I can guarentee they were not cheated. Short of having a camera watching the player playing games what else can I do.
