Knight-Bishop mate - Stockfish fails

I've been training Knight-and-Bishop mate recently.
I go to main page and pick the "play with the computer" button.
Variant: from position.
Time Control: 1+0.
Strength: 8.

So, Stockfish fails to checkmate me most of the time, while I do that easily from the same position.
Here is a couple of examples of Stockfish failure starting from different positions:

thats because you are playing bullet against it. Try playing rapid against it. And also if you want to play bullet play it against stockfish 1 and put this position.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't know why this is happening. Maybe a lichess bug or something. but you already know how to checkmate. So why do you care about this ?

For some strategies I may spent minutes to trap the king, so I just want to polish the process to speed it up. Because in real endgame you are usually running out of time.

There are many things stockfish 8 misses. this is not the first time. Even grandmasters are unable to checkmate with
knight and bishop. Its a very difficult thing.
