Why aren't losses displayed as notifications?

edit: My post is misguided - I misinterpreted a lack of notification about losses as some sort of filter, but it's simply that if you resign you don't need to get notified of your own action :p

-----------------------

I like to review games I have recently lost (as well as those I have won/drawn). The notifications widget (bell in top right corner of desktop website) is a very convenient way to see those games, however for some reason it hides losses.

Do we really need to have such a "negativity filter" on this website? I'm a huge fan of lichess because it focuses simply on chess with no thrills attached. Only showing notifications for wins/draws but hiding "negative" information seems to go against the spirit of lichess and I'd be all for removing this filter.
I don't even get what kind of notifications you're talking about? If you play a game, you can analyze it afterwards. Just search on your profile and if you like then filter by "result" in "advanced search"
The top right corner of lichess.org has 4 buttons/widgets:
1.) A search button
2.) Open challenges
3.) Notifications of dins/draws but not losses
4.) Your profile

I'm talking about #3.

It's a minor issue and I'm able to find my games with a few more clicks in advanced search, but it seems quite pointless to have a widget that notifies you when you win/draw but not when you lose.
are you talking about correspondence games? What happens if your correspondence opponent checkmates you? (I never got checkmated in the few games I lost except for a conditional premove once, so I was in the game while being mated and it was not during my absence)
Ahhh yes, I think you are right - this issue probably only pertains to correspondence chess, in which case it is a lot less relevant to most users. Yeah - I don't think I've ever been checkmated so I never got a notification for a loss (I simply like most players resign).

However, now I think I see the difference :p

1.) If your opponnent resigns or accepts a draw, you receive a notification.
2.) If you resign you don't receive a notification (since you are already aware of the fact that you resigned).

So I understand the situation and I'll just go ahead and search for my recent correspondence games to review them.
