Artificially increases/deceases their rating?

if this happens in casual then i assume there should be no ban cause in casual your rating is not changing and the mark is blahblah blahing the RATING stress on RATING which is why if it happens in casual, your rating doesn't change you shouldn't get the mark. Maybe there is another reason and @Badeshah could you pls post his account name?
@Komokid yes Komokid .... all the games between the two accounts are available on lichess, as per advance search 282 games played between them, 22 won by student, all casual ..... all other won by teacher with normal play .... out of those 43 games were rated. I can share account name, but it might comes as public accusation or defaming ..... so i requested the person banned to himself share is account here.
Hi dear all .... I am the one banned for artificially increasing/decreasing my rating .... unfortunately my rating is stable from a year or so .... while i played only 43 rated games with my student (and even that was by mistake, forgotten about making the challenge casual or received challenge from student) ..... all games played between us are in last month or so ..... i request lichess to please look into the matter
I don't see any reason to ban a person that lost on purpose in casual games...
@supergm3 I send the Appeal to above on 9th .... no response as of yet from lichess .... while i am facing social isolation
Well I am just dropping my 2 cents here just as a casual member of no significance, also I am not aware about the particulars nor do I know in person or otherwise any of the people involved, but I am going to post my opinion anyway :P

I was baffled that lichess banned someone because he lost intentionally (or not) on CASUAL games (= without him or the opponent losing or gaining any points or any other user getting harmed by that) which I find totally wrong and nobody should get banned for that if this is the case!

But (and that's a big but :P ) as far as I understand although the banned player had no intention for malicious gain and his "position" as a teacher points to that too, I read from the user above that claims to be the banned player that there were some RATED matches involved even if as he claims they were started as rated by mistake and I have no reason to doubt or to agree with that.

But I think (that's my humble opinion) that although there was no intention to maliciously gain advantage or harm other players TECHNICALLY the rules have been broken! (IF rated matches are involved in the case, made by mistake or not) and just for reasons of common fairness, integrity and etiquette, in my humble opinion, licheess should enforce the rules without exception or grace towards anybody who broke them, it's a better policy in the long run/big picture.

The appropriate solution for the affected player is to be careful not to start any rated games with his new account if he is going to sandbag or lose intentionally or do anything that is considered as a "cheat" (IN RATED matches), for the sake of his student/s, in the future, otherwise if he realises that a rated game has commenced by mistake then he should just play at his "full potential" ignoring the lesson and try to win at any cost without him or his opponent using engine assistance or cheat in any other fashion.
@drunkenM4ST4 .... He clearly said that he played 43 rated games with his student and he lost none of these games to her .... All the games are present in his profile .... he played with his strength in rated games
@Badeshah I don't see how you derive that he CLEARLY mentioned that he didn't lose none "while i played only 43 rated games with my student (and even that was by mistake, forgotten about making the challenge casual or received challenge from student) ..... all games played between us are in last month or so ....."

He just mentioned he played rated games didnt say anything about winning all of them or trying his best to win, so he mentions only that there have been 43 rated games commenced by mistake.(also for him to mention those games implies that there are somehow connected with the ban and saying they are made by mistake suggest that he feels the need to apologize probably because at least some of them might be lost intentionally but as he said were commenced by mistake)

Anyway as I said I do not know the particulars of the case and spoke only according to what is revealed in this topic. If he indeed didn't intentionally lose in those rated games or did anything that is considered a violation of the rules in those rated games then my second paragraph of my previous post holds true, one shouldn't get banned for intentionally losing in a casual game.
