No one needs to prove a negative. The burden of proof is on whoever makes such a claim, not whoever doubts it.
Also, FYI: The word you’re all looking for here is cracker. Hackers don’t steal or corrupt data, etc.; crackers do that. The word hacker is commonly misused, when people meant to say cracker. (Look it up. Google “hacker vs cracker.”) I wasn’t going to say anything here, but such mistakes bother me (I guess because they’re common), so I figured I’d point that one out.
