Five-Letter Word Change-A-Letter

Rule is simple.
Change one letter of the previous word, then scramble the letters to form another English word, and it must still be 5 letters. E.g.
Person 1 types: torch
Person 2 types: short
Person 3 types: trash
Person 4 types: heart
