[Suggestion] Don't penalize people for choosing to make a 'draw' out of a dc

Greetings !

I'm relatively new on lichess, but I've been confronted with the following case : A match starts, the game looks fairly even, my opponent disconnects.
In those cases, I prefer to not take elo from my opponent away and, when the game looks even, usually choose the 'draw' option.
Sometimes, this results in an elo loss for me, which seems a little unfair ( I could also have choosen to call it a victory for me).

In my opinion, this should be changed. What do you guys think about it ?
That cannot be changed. It's a fundamental part of the rating system. If you draw a lower rated player your rating will decrease. Drawing a higher rated player will increase your rating.
@lovlas I understand that a draw should alter the ratings of both players, of course.
Maybe I should precise the idea then - as @hangrad wrote, a 'cancel' option would seem fair in case of a disconnection ( with the 'claim victory' and 'draw' options still there).
I don't see any disadvantage to something like this. Do you think there could be abuses ?
@Anonymous_Beast #4 No. Adjournments have always been abused and discontinued. This idea is proven as very bad for chess and it will never happen again anywhere in over the board or online chess.
Rating points are not that important. I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other. Disconnecting in the middle of a game is poor behavior and should be penalized. I'm surprised lichess even lets you call it a draw to be honest.
In case of a rage-quit, I would of course consider it bad behavior and claim the win.
Sometimes, for example when I'm loosing a little/hard and my opponent apparently starts having connection issues, none of the two choices that are given feel right.
It doesn't account for a majority of the games and doesn't have a huge impact on the ratings though, that's true.
The only fair alternative would be adjournment, however #6 is spot-on that even adjournment opens a can of worms.
I just played a long game yesterday and then we had a rematch. My internet went out for a minute or so and I lost the game. Didn't think my opponent would be like that but I guess he was angry I beat him in the first game.

What is it? 12 rating points you lose? Not much. I wouldn't worry about it.
