unable to play in desktop version

as per my understanding , since your website allowed "Advertisements" mouse courser coordinates and click event coordinates where took place are different( when ever i clicked on any rank, that action was happening on next rank... i.e I was unable to click on rank 'A' in my entire game)

You see advertisements on Lichess?
It sounds like you have adware on your computer.
Anti-virus software and sth. like AdwCleaner might help (you should run both, to be sure).

thanks for your advice ,no luck even after installing Adwcleaner . but after trying various browser options(installed redirect control add-on and blocking popups) i made all ads and popups disabled . I'm not pretty sure this "adwcleaner" played any role in my issue( i guess it did something which didnt show instant effect).. but it did cleared many unnecessary toolbars that were installed unknowingly.
