Puzzle #uaQP2 Illegal Move

This puzzle ends with an illegal move: castling across square under attack. This puzzle should be deleted.
@Guessed the king is not going through a square that's attacked (d8-c8). only the rook (b8), and that's allowed. Just like in any other moves: you cannot move your king where it's under attack, but you can move a rook where it's under attack.
strictly speaking the opponent ought to be able to capture the rook on the square it moves through like in en passant, but i guess back when castling was invented they thought that would be too much.
And the fact that Korchnoi didn't know about it either should be some solace.
I learned something new today. Thank you all. BTW, as I enjoy sharing a good laugh, even if at my expense, know that I have been playing with this incorrect understanding for 51 years! Had I known then what I know now, nobody would have ever heard of Bobby Fischer.
Actually, i retract my statement (#4).
@Patrizsche , explained it most simply. The rook glides over squares and can only be attacked on the destination square.

In en passant, its like the pawns can only move one square at a time, so the opponent gets a chance to capture on the intermediate square.

We need more of this instead of constant finger-pointing at each other.
