Empathy is a sign for intelligence (or maturity).

Half the answers in the thread were about associated character trades.

If you look at early human development you’ll see some of the largest groups amongst predators with 100+ individuals, you can put all your mirror neurons to good use in this size of society.

Maybe try helping people, it’s weirdly satisfying.

Personally, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Not because I don't want to help people, of course, but because I don't know what to do with their gratefulness.
