I don't know what the correct process is but I think it would be helpful to know if Asonynia simply closed his account or was in fact banned. I won't mention any names but I've heard from 3 people in the last couple of days who are thinking of closing their lichess accounts, and I can't help but feel this might have something to do with it.

I think Lichess is an awesome place to play chess, but when someone who was very genuine, and certainly not the type to cheat, just disappears it would help a lot to know why.
