I'm learning my daughter how to play chess. Wouldn't it be nice to have LichessKids-button, simplefying the layout with just a big 3d-board on screen, and colored squares indicating the possible moves when hovering over a pawn, horse, rook, etc.?
Other parents out there who are interested?

I think you can do it all here also:
1. Switch on Kid mode
2. Change Board Geometry to 3D
3.Drag and make the board bigger(in a game)
4. Apply Zen Mode
5. In settings>Piece destinations, switch it on.
That should be almost like what you want.

@babson just FYI, switching on kid mode (as suggested by
@BravestKnight) will protect your kid by disabling incoming messages to chat and inbox.
