Distracting draw offers

Hello, In another post I have mentioned that it is often difficult for me to see my opponent last move because of the unsufficient highlightening.
Yesterday I have received a draw offer from my opponent when his position was dead lost but still complicated. This draw offer was a festival of light. very distracting. Eventually I ve been one second short of mating him and lost on time.
For that reason I would like not to receive draw offer anymore.
In the settings there is : "Confirm resignation and draw offers" I don't know what it means. is it the solution to my problem?
Thanks
It has been brought to the devs attention before to change the color highlighting and they won't, the answer they give is either
use one of the different colored boards
download your own custom board
use the colorblind assist
Thanks for the answer!

I've changed from common brown to wood color. I doubt the highlighting will be more visible but let's try!
Didn't find the colorblind assist.
@Zooparis The confirmation won't help you in this case - it's to prevent you clicking resign/draw accidentally - you have to click again to confirm. It does nothing to prevent your opponent suggesting a draw.
Wood color is event worst! I really don't know what to do...
Today another player offered me the blinding colored draw in a lost position. So much light on the draw offer and so little to point out opponent's last move...

Another consequence of unsufficient highlighting on the chessboard : in one game (it happened before) I tried to castle large and had the funny surprise to watch the computer make me castle short.
I suppose the reason is that I had touched the other rook previously, then changed my mind without noticing that the rook was still selected.
@Zooparis Something some users here do is use a browser extension called Stylish to customize the way this site is displayed. I've never used it but maybe it's easy for you to install and use to make stuff you find difficult to see somewhat easier. Highlight last move, hide draw offers etc. Or maybe you can ask in the forums here for people who know how to use it.
Thank you Doofenshmirtz.
I did'nt find the colorblind assist, I was told it could help, know about it?
@Zooparis I've never heard of it. I don't think it's a lichess thing. Maybe it's a feature of some operating systems, perhaps hidden away in accessibility options somewhere, or maybe it's another browser extension. What browser are you using? There are a couple in the Chrome web store. Could it be as simple though as just changing your board background in lichess to a grey colour? Maybe try them all?
