I'm just so happy right now ... I've been hosting friends since the Ferguson Fire threatening Yosemite kicked-off. (Even my yards turned into ad-hoc camping tent clusters. It starts with one or a few friends, and then turns into: "Oh, hey, no room? Can I pitch a tent in your back yard?" What am I supposed to say?)

Well, they're slowly migrating back to their homes in Yosemite. (Thank You Fire Fighters, from the bottom of my black soul and heart.)

So, free-house, and I don't have to cook for a bunch of Yosemite bums anymore. (This isn't reality, though -- one of them was a chef. But at least I don't have to pay to keep my fridge filled every day, or worry about my cars getting in uninsured wrecks. Still kinda angry that Mr. Chef would grab my car and go hunting for specialty food items on company dime.)

I'm also happy there's not too much damage to Yosemite. (Though I could care less about Yosemite Valley, I'm still worried about the high country above Glacier Point.)
