Lichess has completely failed at keeping pro-Russian propaganda from their site

These forums are overrun with paid Russian propagandists here to make excuses for mass murder- and get away with it. Go to Chess 24, Chess.com- all the inferior sites- see how much Russian lies there are going around there- NONE. Lichess is the only place I am reading these murderers.

I can understand your frustration at the Putin trolls, Evelyn, but I believe Lichess has been pretty active in removing the trolls. It's possible that the trolls who are banned come back in another guise, or there's simply a conveyor belt of fresh trolls, or a mix of the two.
Anyway, all we can do is counter their nonsense and/or report them.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I am not seeing the bans, instead I keep seeing the same names, and I wish they were muted. Can you name anyone who was banned? The only account I know was that anti vaxx account. I am eager to find some good news on this front.

Gosh, I'm not very good with names. I think ARA was one, and that Freedom Trucker guy? There was definitely more, but can't remember their names. I know I reported some, and they did get banned

They're getting banned, but it's hard to ban all of them when there are so many.

Lichess does other things to counter the propaganda. I will not talk details for obvious reasons.

I don't think that Lichess has completely failed at keeping propaganda away. I would say Lichess does pretty well in this regard.
For me personally, talking with people with different opinions is important, providing that they are discussing in good faith, without hidden agenda.
