So I am having a good day playing some chess and sporadically I get a disconnection in a wining position, this can happen more then few times a day and as a consequence of that I loose a lot of rating points and sometimes even get temporarily banned. This does not only happen to me but also my club mates tell me that they experienced similar things here on Lichess. These disconnections are recalcitrant and capricious. They really exasperate me. I understand that you cannot not detect these random disconnections, but I thought that you could make an algorithm which detects when a player quits the game and get an engine to evaluate the current position, if the player has a clearly winning material advantage or just a lot better position you could give the player a win or at the least a draw or at the least not give them a warning or a ban(if the position is equal or better for them). This is a huge problem since some players (even the advanced) the are prolonging the games in lost positions (such as the most recent game I played against a 2200 blitz rated player I was a clear piece up in the endgame the time situation was roughly equal). I understand that this solution posses some shortcomings(for example when the positions are close to equality and the other player might not want a draw) but the point which I am trying to convey is that something needs to implemented against these annoying disconnections.
