I support the change , if it reduces the size of data that need to be loaded.
I don't think it was a big step back , or "destruction".
If , however , the community disagrees , the mods could reconsider.
I liked the ratings change indicator and would at least like to have the option to turn it on.

For what it's worth: I've spotted several cheaters because of the rating-change indicator in tournaments before (esp. daily & monthly tournaments), and I've reported them and they were banned (several *while* the tournament was still ongoing). And in one case, I've also spotted a sandbagger who I've reported and who was also banned for sandbagging.
It feels wweird seeing this
Also in the game play(ing/ed) I can see fewer games and only the played ones.
If I see an interesting game, I cannot watch it after it is ended.
Yes , this is a new change in the tournament interface.
Only TOP GAMES appear on the right.
A game that has ended disappears immediately.
Hmmm , I am not sure if I like this or not...
