Hi just played a game via the iPhone app after the new update. I could not tap the messages icon or bring up options like resign, abort, etc. Worse, when I moved a pawn to promotion rank nothing happened. Went back a move and it was like I hadn't touched the pawns. Please fix!
I only have the chat problem.
I also have these problems on iPad:
- action button (draw etc.) doesn't work
- chat button doesn't work
- weird mysterious icon with fade at startup which makes you think you have been hacked
- whole app sometimes freezes completely
The only change I was hoping for (getting read of the magnifying glass effect when moving pieces which violates the basic UI metaphor and gets me to make wrong moves every other game) was not made.
I'm sorry, but though I wouldn't use the word some other poster just used (I looked for another thread in order not to encourage them in the rudeness), this new version is in urgent need of a corrective update. I look forward to it, and I have no doubt that the new version also contains improvements. Thanks.

Hopefully it might help, there's some problems with the new update for the app.

I tested the app using an iphone 5 on ios 9.1 and I don't have any of these problems.

iPad with iOS 9.2.1 (last version) here. Haven't tried it on my iPhone yet (it was already not so good before because I have a 4s and the app is made for the iPhone 5 screen size).

I have no idea. I don't have those issues in my iphone. Could you send a screenshot?
No buttons work. Only the new back/forth arrows on the board that loads during start. 👎 Since the update I can't see ongoing games, I can't go to the menu or anything. I'm on iPhone 6s latest version.
