Hello everyone, I couldn't understand how the ranks and percentages on the website are calculated. The distribution page says that there are 281,000 Rapid players in this week and I have a rank of 149,000 in Rapid (which corresponds to top 53%). But in the same "Weekly rating distribution" page I can see that I am better than 17% of the weekly Rapid players (as graph shows).
So the only reason that my rank is so high (or my percentage is so low) is that the ranks should not be calculated on a weekly basis, but when I check in FAQ it says that to have a rank a player should "have played a rated game within the last week for this rating". I couldn't come to a conclusion, what do you think?
