We need to make lichess community more equal.

Reading it again won't change the fact that there isn't any relevant evidence in it.

The closest thing to evidence in that is the statement about FIDE not making the decision to broadcast or promote games the same way. Who knows if that's true or not, but even if it is, that's a specific situation which is simply corrected by making FIDE change their policies, not by forcing everyone else to compensate for FIDE's mistake (assuming they are actually making that mistake).

Again. Why punish the overwhelming majority of the innocent population for the crimes of a very very small handful of individuals?

Unfairness in one place is never solved by adding opposite unfairness somewhere else. You have to fix the unfairness where it is caused.

If FIDE is discriminating, take it up with them, not Lichess.

As I said before that such system where White pieces move first was developed centuries back when no such racial discrimination existed. So, stop comparing chess with race!
And on other hand, there can be variant of chess in which position is standard but Black moves first as it would make things interesting.

So say this prat gets their way and certain individuals get given a higher ELO because of who they are, rather than how good they are at chess. What is going to happen when they play a game against someone who arrived at that ELO range from learning the game? The recipient of the inflated ELO is going to get their head handed to them is what will happen.

I've played a little Go in my time. Very interesting game. I think that had I been born in SE Asia that would be a game I would have played a lot. Black plays first. Never occurred to me that I'm being discriminated against.
