The function to create your own tournaments.

The function to create your own tournaments.

1. Make the ability to create tournaments according to the Swiss system and round-robin. (Then Lichess become a very attractive place for online tournaments.)
2. Make the ability to set a rating limit to enter the tournament. The top level of rating. The lower the rating level. Or both the lower and upper level of rating.
3. The ability to restrict access to the tournament if enough of rating games. (That in the tournament could not go to those whose rating is not yet determined.)
4. Make the opportunity to join the tournament after it began at the discretion of the tournament organizer.
5. Make use of the opportunity berserk at the discretion of the tournament organizer.
6. Make use of the opportunity to double the points after two wins at the discretion of the tournament organizer. (Spark).
7. Make the ability to set the number of points for a win, a draw and a defeat. (To be able to install the system 3-1-0 or any other at the discretion of the tournament organizer.)
8. Ability to create the name of the tournament and the tournament description.

I beg those people who are developing to respond lichess, at least briefly, that this plan to do and when?
Thank you.

PS I my apologies. This Google translation.
It actually seems to have turned out quite well for the standards of Google Translate :).

As for your suggestions, I really don't see a reason for lichess not to implement them. Especially points 2 and 3 are some that should be easy to implement (scheduled tournaments already have them) and would also be quite useful. For your fifth point, I honestly think streaks are a bad thing anyway, so I think this would be a great option too.

The only point I'm not so sure about is your eight and last point. I think that the reason this is not allowed is to keep tournaments from having naughty names. I guess it could be implemented for private tournaments, though.

I think that something which would be absolutely fantastic is a tournament format where the pairings are done like the Swiss system (in rounds), but players can still join and withdraw as they wish. This would ensure a fair tournament where it's more about winning than playing fast, while still keeping the freedom the Arena tournaments have.
I do know a little English, but it sometimes helps. I read the Google translation that turned out and if I do not like, try to change the text in their own language and to include Google translation for the second time. Sometimes it helps to translate the text well.

Their proposals I have set out in order of importance (in my opinion). That is paragraph 8, it is not an essential part. It is much more important than the first few paragraphs.

For example, I wanted to offer a single chess community to hold tournaments at lichess, but they play tournaments according to the Swiss system and so opt for other tournaments playground.

I also wish to draw the young players on the lichess, but they have no tournaments. In those tournaments that are now on the lichess, they lose, because they are still very weak players. And they, too, need to win to their motivation.

I'm trying to help lichess become more popular and better. I help make the translation in my language is better. I have placed links to lichess on my site. I help lichess money. I bring new people to lichess. But now, the biggest challenge to attract people, this is what I stated in the first report.
I hope someone from the developers read this and answer me.

Thank you.
Well, as I said (ru.lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/who-to-contact-if-i-have-any-ideas), all the ideas go into the void and no response from the developers.

I wrote everything in great detail here on the forum, and even sent an email contact@lichess.org but I am so no one answered at least very short.

I now appeal to the developers. Do you think that resource development is only writing code? Development of the resource is still a lot of other things. And those people who do these things, lose motivation when they are ignored. A good project is a project in which the community is good. And if the project is not the community, and will only programmers, such a project will live it is not very long.

Therefore, I once again appeal to the developers of this site. You can at least briefly to answer questions from the first message? What do you plan to do and what is planned. If not planned, why not plan to do it? And if you plan something when it is scheduled to do? Is it so difficult to answer?

Thank you.
But for some reason none of the developers I did not write about it here?
Should the same people understand that the efforts they have made are not lost in vain, that their assistance does not go away like water through sand.

Now we will monitor developments, and themselves at this time to help the liches than we can.

Thank you!
Maybe because they have better thing to do, like improve lichess. I think if they would answers to all the feature request, they would never have time to code.
Welcome friends!!!
My native language is Russian. Please forgive me for mistakes.
Want to maintain Vasaka and in turn to note that the absence of round-Robin tournaments and tournaments on the Swiss system pushes this website lichess into the background. These system tournaments have long been recognized around the world as the most appropriate to detect the strongest part of the tournament. Why do you ignore this obvious fact is not clear.
A system by which you organize tournaments on lichess has some clear disadvantages:
1)Not provided the principle of fair play since winning all their games is out of the top three! It's just a lot less games played. That is, this system does not encourage players playing thoughtful! Benefit those who "thinks" and plays on the number! But this is not correct.
2) the Presence of a choice of the Berserker makes the game just gambling. That is, the player no longer thinks about the quality of their parties. He hopes scatters and free glasses. This mindset should not be welcome in normal chess!
3) "Burning line" of points after the third win is illogical and only makes unnecessary the excitement in the players behaviour. And also negatively affects the composition of the winners of the tournament. Why do you think that a draw is a bad result? When playing equal opponents is the natural result! And on lichess only win is a good result. This is wrong!
4) Disputes between the players happen it is because the first three items!
On this basis, I urge the developers to consider these deficiencies and to undertake the necessary work to improve the lichess website. I hope that I will bring the feasible contribution to this process and my appeal will not go unnoticed.

Sincerely, Borisov P. A
Looks like the github issue that Solal35 linked is closed now. I hope that this is not an abandoned feature?

It would be great, if we could have other kinds of tournaments, including the ones where you don't get extra points, and everyone can play the same number of games, without losing from randomness of getting opponents that play slower, resulting in less games played and less points gained.
