Ignored rematch requests - most annoying feature of lichess!

Hi. Please make it impossible for players to ignore Rematch requests without manually dismissing them. Don't allow page navigation away from the board, e.g. to Analysis, until a Rematch has been accepted, or politely rejected.

This is a hilarious suggestion.

I have the opposite perspective - that the Rematch button flashing can be annoying when I'm trying to find and click the Analyze button.

Please make it impossible for players to open the exact same thread twice.

Please make your opponent's desktop explode if they try to ignore your rematch request.

In that case, Toadofsky, the Rematch request should be automatically cancelled when the player navigates away. It is stupid the way it is now, because there is no way of knowing if they will accept or not, except waiting.

Now, seriously, the best way to get a remach is not sending a remach, it may sound strange, but when you do this usually the other player invites you right away

That's still a silly idea because for correspondence games you're likely to be offline when the game ends so you'd never get a rematch request. Just send the rematch request and get on with your life and they'll either accept/refuse or it'll time out at some point. It's all good.
