Banned from lobby games after a single abort?

@sakkozik Totally agree, this wouldn't be an issue if "New opponent" found a new opponent.

@Toadovsky It was the only game I aborted after logging on that day - although I guess it would be possible if it took other games on previous days into account. The issue is, since many of the games I accept are for variants, and those searches are often up for 5-10 minutes before they are accepted (since not many people play variants), by the time I accept the match my opponent has already started playing another game or is AFK. I end up having to abort up to 50% of my games not because I don't want to play, but because my opponent just doesn't move. It's not like there's much I can really do about that, I can't control whether my opponent moves.

I'll have to ask other Lichess staff how this is supposed to work. I think there's some penalty if you abort too quickly? But if that's the case, it sure would be nice if the UI could somehow indicate/warn about that.
Just got another 30 minute ban from aborting games where my opponent doesn't move :/
Wait 15 seconds before aborting, which is a fair amount of time to give your opponent a chance to move.
This way you will not get any ban.
