adjustments that will help with cheaters

after a decent thread it really seems like the simplest and least intensive way to greatly reduce the number of cheaters is to up the requirement for entry, possibly using a time based criteria instead of games. if you have to be a member for a month with x number of games, this would really help. it would only affect a legitimate player once, while it would massively cull the popup accounts that are cheaters in tourneys.

i think a real-time detection applied to the top 2 or so places in a tournament would go a long way since the person could be removed before they 'win' this would remove a lot of the motivation to be a cheater.

lastly, it would seem only appropriate that they are removed from the boards for the tournament, and if possible scores corrected.

are any of these changes possible to deal with the scourge of cheating? it would really make this amazing site be incredible if there was a way to further suppress these people.
i would appreciate staff weighing in on this, i think this gets ignored too often and something should at least be said, if not done
