Reduced time to reconnect to the game

I a really disappointed with the reduced time you have to reconnect to the game. Yesterday a guy disconnected, and I enjoyed a victory after like 15 sec? Today I was playing from my laptop, and it switched off due to a battery problem. I plugged it in as quickly as I could, started it and saw a lost party, just in like 30 secs, while I had about 7 mins of playing time on my clock. It's a bit unfair, I think; why administrators decided to do that? Many people have internet or equipment problems.

@GlaxoSmithKline the time varies for everyone depending on the rate of disconnection. i get your frustration what i do in this situation is swithch to my phone lichess app and join from there try this

This truly is a huge issue. Especially if you play only on your phone....

Once upon a time I was having 10 minutes n I was gone to send a message for nearly 30 secs but when I came back I was declared lost.

First, It's your problem. Your Internet should be stable, Lichess is not responsible for that, Lichess will add 15 or 30sec when you are in the Game and lichess was restarted.
And I think they keep less reconnecting time for fast games (Below 5min maybe) And long reconnecting time (60sec or maybe 30) for Long paced games (10min to Unlimited time controls)

Nope. They should reduce the time, but what about the people that are waiting? If you're going to play chess online, you should have stable internet. If you don't, sucks to be you.
