I created a tournament but after I left the page it was cancelled!

# 11 same thing happened to me. I think you (and maybe at least a couple of players) have to stay in the tournament page before it begins. I guess 5 mins should do
I like the idea in that it seems on the face of it fair, and a cool way to encourage further participation in tournament play... but doesn't this whole tournament for under so-and-so skew the rankings? I don't know, but it sounds plausible. Can any clever person explain?!
Why do the official Uxxxx tournaments end at 1500?
Having U2000, U1700, and U1500 arenas gives a chance to win to everyone rated from 2000 to ~1200, but what about our 800-1200 players?
There are quite a few players here stuck near the 800 line, shouldn't they also have the right to play in a tournament and not be crushed in every game?
Or would that just be a bonanza for sandbagged?

there's a tournament starting within 30 min.... bullet / U 1700 !!
I am currently 1665 and lichess doesnt allow me to play (requirements : 20 rated games + under 1700 bullet rating) ! so... why???????????????????
the requirement under 1700 is in red when I am lower than 1700 !! this is discrimination imo ! :)

(I think it'd be more reasonable if the requirement was rating < x+100 or x+200 for a week).
