I'm a frustrated Chiefs fan, that's why I'm rooting for the Rams, but it would be insane if Joe Burrow wins.
The word "rooting" has a rather different connotation in some other English-speaking parts of the world.

Fun Fact... half-time in a Superbowl game triggers a large increase in the water-pressure supply right across America to cope with all those toilets flushing.
