Horde against lone king when time runs out - lost

I ran out of time in Horde game when I had all opponents pieces taken and was already playing against lone king.

I lost although I expected at a draw.
Is it okay?

You can lose in Horde against a lone King, right? It can even be a forced loss. E.g. white Pe2, black Ke8. Why would you expect to be awarded a draw in such a lost position?

On the other side, I had a queen already. That's not a forced loss.

It is possible to win this game as black, with bad play from the white side.
And as there are situations where a single king is no forced win for white (your game for example), a timeout is no draw.
To decide otherwise would require an case to case evaluation.
