I had a 'Himalaya Persian' cat once...beautiful ! - :]
my family has a cat. He permits us to call him by various names, but the original that my daughter gave him was Mao-dan. Cat-egg. You can call him anything you like, but he will only come when he feels like it.
He graciously permits my wife and I to sleep with him, our girls to pick him up and snuggle him like a toy, and me to clean his box. When he sleeps with us he delicately tickles my wife's nose with his tail, but not mine. (wait a moment. For clarity, he tickles my wife's nose, but not mine with his tail. AFAIK, he doesn't tickle anyone's nose with my tail)
