Useless forums

I don't know why people create so many useless forums. Some ask to give them dislikes, some ask what is 2+2 and some talk to themselves only and when people comment in their forums, they start bullying them. I don't understand what's the point in creating such forums. Is it grabbing attention? Is it time pass? Nobody knows why.

Many people suggest that we should ignore such forums. But I don't think that's the solution. The solution is that lichess should ban a few of them, tell everyone publically that they banned 20 players (without telling their names) for creating useless forums. It must be taken as a warning.

And please don't take this as a useless forum.
Maybe not ban users...just take down the threads.
I dont think taking down will help. Some people are so desperate to grab attention that they will create new forums.
This forum is not useless. I used to create useless forums but now I don't. I appeal to all the attention grabbers not to create such forums again.
Such people should indeed be thrown out of lichess.
You will be shocked to know that the most useless forums are those that have the most comments.

Also, after a long time I have seen a useful forum.
I actually like the combination of irrelivant and relevant threads. If people don't like it they just don't respond, fixing the issue. They however do, and for that reason, you see alot of irrelivant but fun threads.
In my experience, laws limiting thought and discussion are always bad for me. Calling other people's work by your word "useless" is common at Lichess, at every thread I've made here some replier wrote that he was angry at me for writing such "unimportant" ideas. There are only about four threads by me, which you may look at to verify that by. Thus an ideal discussion venue should do the opposite as what you suggest, remove chatters who work to belittle the thoughts of other people. Then we'll get more done, with less drag from them. However I would require threads to be labeled accurately, so there is no danger of wasting time reading unwanted subjects, and so we can organize them.
You mean that forums such as "what is 2+2" and "please follow me" should be allowed. This is not chess.com. this is lichess,it has way too higher standards for such USELESS forums . (I use the word again)
