I have noticed this somewhat worrying thing

#20
I suggest you report them because I don’t think that it will be of much value talking about them here. But if you wish to continue I’m fine with that. :)
Regarding their accounts being closed I think you can see my previous post. Hope that helps.
#20 you’re not listening to what anonmod is saying: he/she is saying to not make judgements about what somebody is doing is right or wrong, and instead if you see something you think to be wrong, just report. But literally in post #20, you are calling out people for trolling.
We don't know who Zoran is....referring to one of @Searchingyou 'threads...

So I think that that thread doesn't belong on lichess..

Please tell me if I'm wrong...or right
@InvincibleX17 #24

Zoran is a chess player and he is not on Lichess but after making a thread about him, he knew whatever i wanted to say. So indirectly my thread belongs to Lichess because chess players are connected through all chess forums.
@InvincibleX17 as anonmod said, we can't judge. Just report.

And I will never ask someone to not advertise again. We have gotten an answer from a mod, so it'd be great if we follow what they say.
And i hope now others will not say to stop me making threads as mod cleared this thing also. Nobody has right to judge others so it will be better if those same members get its meaning.
Yes, but what if we want to avoid false reports? We can't just go on reporting every single person who advertises! That would be way too many reports...

That's the reason why many of us respond to the advertising forums saying not to advertise.
@CreativeThinking You realize that simply the sheer number of reports the mods will receive would be crazy if we were to report advertising forums and advertisers every time? We also cannot report first offenders. What do we do with them if not respond to them? And, some people may want to report a certain forum, while others wouldn't- again, due to varying definitions. So, we are back at the original question - how do we get a definitive definition for "advertising", and therefore, who to report?
