ban keyboard!

Lichess could make everyone laggy in ultra, because I’m pretty sure that’ll disable kB basicaly right? .... but then it stops the point of ultrabullet.....
You can’t deny it, when people download KB, it’s because they want to get an increase in rating, or just want help.

No ones like “hey I’m gonna download KB so I can get worse rating and not gain any help in my games whatsoever”

Lichess could just make a blog post to stop kB saying that downloading things from other sites such as github and using those in Lichess is illegal due to it being artificially inflating your rating. Hey that rhymed IM DOCTOR SUES NOW.
In all other gaming you can choose to play, or not to play, on the same platform as other players;

Controller vs Controller
PC vs PC
Phone vs Phone

At the very least you are aware on what device they are using.

Even just knowing who is using KB with a tag on their name would be a start.
Just add a default time loss to every move. Oh yeah, and ban ultrabullet
I don't think there is a big issue... if anybody else has problem don't use but who don't they will use. Without keyboard there will be mouse slip, please don't ban it?
Before people started using keyboard nobody complained about anything in ultrabullet/hyperbullet ... I do not understand why keyboard should be allowed. Especially in the last seconds of a game you cannot detect the difference between "random move with king bot" or keyboard player. Many people stopped playing ultrabullet (andrew tang e.g.) bc other people started using keyboard which is really sad in my view.

My suggestion, small move delay (like 0,05 sec per move) or just ban keyboard nobody would be sad...

I have good connection and that makes for 0.03 sec delay per move.
Sarin causes like 0.3sec delay per move.

across the best connections you get basicly 0.03 + 0.03 = 0.06sec delay per moves.

ultra is a ridiculously fast game always has been even with some "delay" which already exists.
#78 @TAUTKUS Yeah, but you always get this lag back...I meant a system which does not give you this time back which means when we include a penalty of e.g. 0.05/0.04/0.03 sec per move kb players can only make 20 moves in 1 sec when all moves are premoves and not 100 or 1000. And to add ultrabullet won't be ever fair because people still have different connection. But there is an easy fix: The player with better connection get the same connection as the player with bad connection. But I tested it: Playing with lag is complelty different ultrabullet than playing without lag...ultrabullet cannot be competitive with different input methods and different connections. To make ultrabullet competitive you need both:
- same connection
- same input method
Otherwise it does not make any sense to play it in my view...
