Removing players from a team

How can I remove people from my team, without simultanously banning them from forever rejoining?

Due to a new team admin feature they are treated like "Request declined" whereas I collect a very very long list of people I dont want to keep track of.

Its kind of silly that the team admin has to keep track of all the players that ever have join a team without a way of getting rid of them.....

(Listing blocked players is a good enough tool to keep a few trolls out, but not all players you wanna remove from a team are trolls.)

Or am I missing/not understanding something?
You can probably ban them, and instantly unban them.
No, thats exactly what is missing. When I unban them, they return "instantly and automatically by the lichess system" like they are new players who have just joined. They are not removable.

They are forever members. Either accepted or temporarily banned. Never removable
I wonder what your reasons are for ever wanting to remove a player from your team while still allowing them to return whenever they like. It makes sense to me that this is not possible, but perhaps you can explain what the circumstances are which justify it?

Wait, since when did team leaders get promoted to Moderator?

probably inactive players
I wasn't aware that removing a player from a team banned them from the team.

was added after asking for something to kick out trolls permanently
and alternative that existed before was to leave the group for approval and refuse the troll
then grant access back

Assuming they are talking about the club “Correspondence League” It is for players who are inactive but they haven’t done anything else wrong. They just take up club space and confuse the leaders as to whether they will play or not.
same problem, I have around ten inactive players, and compared to what they have done in the past, they deserve honors and thanks, but some have not been active for 1 year! I can't remove the possibility of them returning and because of the same problem as @carlfromfinland, I can't remove them from the team. a team leader is like an “internal moderator” of a team, without power or formalization of course, but simply a fairly similar role!
