I was wondering if it would be possible to include how many puzzles you solved in n tries (for 1<=n<=6) in the stats, similarly as wordle.
I'm actually storing that information, just forgot to add it. Will add it soon!
I'm wondering how are move sequences chosen? Are they chosen randomly from bullet games? Is there any consideration put into whether the moves that were made are good moves (e.g. not from when two players are trying to flag each other)? Today's puzzle had a move that was an inaccuracy, for example.

I would love to see this puzzle made for classical grandmaster games, so that it could teach us/give us insight into how grandmasters think.
I'm choosing the games manually. For now I'm selecting games where they play near-optimal moves or where the continuation is somewhat logical, so that you could narrow down the options by combining several logical continuations into one guess.

The puzzles should be solvable within 5 attempts, and I suspect it would be almost impossible to guess the continuation of most random positions. Moreover, I don't think there would be a big difference between these games and classical grandmaster games, since I'm choosing lines that could just as well appear in classical games. If I had picked random positions, however, I would have to use classical Grandmaster games for the moves to be logical enough.
would be nice if we could also click a piece from square to square instead of drag only.
on my phone i dont like to drag
Hi Asbjørn! For some days some text has gone white in the UI and it makes it really hard to read. Im on Chrome on a Mac. See screenshots here: imgur.com/a/AFzfRTa
Hi @Lashtray! Can you try clicking the moon/sun in the upper right corner twice? I've changed the theme of the site, and you may have a combination of the old and new theme now. Clicking the moon/sun icon twice should set the correct, new light theme.
