Cat or dog?

I choose both
Dogs make good companions.
Cats make good consumers.
After all if it wasn't for cats what the heck would we do with all those cans of cat food?

Cat or Dog, that is the question?

Well, I, like @ Dukedog (who literally has "dog" in the username), appreciate both cats and dogs. While cats can be picky at times, they also seek your attention and demand that you play with them occaisonally. Dogs almost always show you their love for you - cats do as well, but it normally goes unnoticed. Also, the dog is a really good companion (like @ Dukedog mentioned :)) while the cat likes to explore anything, anywhere, anytime.

In a previous thread on the matter I have seen someone stating something similar along these lines:
A dog is there to serve the human.
A cat is there to be served by the human.

As I think this is not only a funny statement but also a somewhat true one, I wanted to incorporate it into this post.
