$40,000,000,000 ($40 Billion) passed by US Congress to wage war in Ukraine

Of course, US does not have $40,000,000,000 to give to the Ukrainians to wage war and other stuff. The US is, $30,447,000,000,000 in debt. The US will borrow/print money and its kids and grandkids will pay it off (plus interest) or more likely, default. How does one pay off $30 trillion debt? Really? 30 trillion.

What would you do with 40,000,000,000 ($40 Billion) instead of waging war.

Some would give 1 Billion dollars to the 40 poorest, most violent, sad, forsaken US cities, for example, Baltimore, where I got married. Also lived there with very cool partying MICA students in my 20s. Watched Letterman on TV on roof with girls and got buzzed by Police helicopter. Went there on 12/31/1999 to eat fine Seafood with view of harbor with wife. Rode bus there many Saturdays when 13 years to spend all day at Avalon Hill Games and a D&D shop.

Wouldn't go there now. Too dangerous.

But there is no money for Baltimore in this bill.

BTW, 10 people were shot in 1 day in Baltimore recently. But the US needs more war.

I am a proud Black Man and I don't appreciate Cap minimizing the death of innocents in my community, like it doesn't matter, until Ukraine is "fixed". 1 Billion dollars for Baltimore would heal a lot of pain and misery but you don't care ... b/c Ukraine Ukraine Ukraine.

is it really fair to compare 10 people getting shot in one day in a small american city to a warzone? lol. there is always going to be someone somewhere that has more problems than you, that does not mean your problems are illegitimate. and frankly crime rates going up has far more impact on the average american than people dying in a country thousands of miles away.
