How to take a screenshot on PC

I am wondering on how to take a screenshot on a PC. Can you guys please help me. Thanks in advance, your friend @Riko2020_chess.

On windows, do the windows button + the prt sc button
On mac, do command+shift+3

What is the prt sc button?

lol! I am doing that right now because i have to copy and image for school. I never got mine all done so i'm doing a lot before bed:(

@Riko2020_chess , very simple. Press windows + G. Wait for a bit and a screen overlay will come up with several options. To the right there should be a few buttons, and one of them will be take screenshot.
Alternatively, you can use the hotkey windows+Alt+prtsc. the prtsc button is directly to the right of f12.

Hmm. On my Windows I normally do "Ctrl Shift S".

To take a screenshot of a selected area - Go to the Windows search bar and open "Snipping Tool" and take a screenshot of the selected area

To take a screenshot of the whole area - Windows Button + G, an overlay will appear, click the camera icon.
