The idea is such:
Space=Pawn
A=Knight
D=Bishop
W=Queen
S=Rook
Q=King
Pressing Shift selects upper or left piece, where horizontal choice has more priority, i.e. if there are two knights on c3 and e5, pressing Shift would select the knight on c3.
Then we just click on the final destination with the mouse. Selection and moving of a piece would apply either if we first have selected our piece and then clicked on the final destination with the mouse, or if we have a key and a mouse button pressed simultaneously. With pressing Space (for a pawn) selection won't apply until a final destination is chosen with the mouse. Then one or one of two possible moves are played depending on whether Shift is pressed. If a piece of some kind is only on the board, it's selected regardless of whether Shift is pressed.
It will help to prevent a lot of misclicks and will make a game (especially fast games) more enjoyable and faster.
Thank you!
