I don't want to play against Russian players

The only way at the moment is to look at profiles and block people, is there a better way?

Yes... just don't.

There's the abort button and there's plenty of time before a match to hover on their name or tap it to see if they are from Russia. You can do the same for the names that sound Russian.

If you don't queue for a game you 100% won't play any Russian players

It's not like the Russian players are Putin himself. And it's not like they can't just remove or change their flag without you knowing.

“I think the best solution would be to simply remove the ability to specify nationality from the profile section in the system. Why should nationality matter? We just want to play chess here. No more flags in profile.”
