We know that about 30% of Oct 7th deaths are friendly fire
We also know among the civilians gatherings there were a few militants and hamas was targeting those and the other civilians were caught in cross fire
In order for it to be genocide, the goal needs to be the elimination of said civilians. Intent and purpose is a key element. Consequences can be similar but the consequences are not the only element. Why would hamas want to kill civilians, it doesn't benefit them at all
