Why didn't Lichess made a public declaration about the genocide in Gaza?

Yeah according to you, starving murdering displacing ... civilians is not genocide according to you?

If u can't defend a point maybe don't make it?

I explained my position in detail which did not receive a proper response.
I don't think I need to explain my words to those who demand without making any claim (new. I already answered at length).
And because it is a repeating pattern
"I think it should be put here"
"Where do you think it should be put?"
"Here!"
"Tell me, does putting it here seem okay to you?"
"I said put it here!"
"You have to decide where to put it!!!"
"Here! Dammit!"
"Good. You don't know where to say it, idiot, ugly toothless, stupid mass murderer!"
"go die"
"If you don't know how to defend your point that's no reason to be nasty!"
@devastatingly-hot explained my position in detail: narrated a story that had nothing to do with the conflict
About your small analogy you posted at the beigining: it works for both hamas and Israel btw
I wish y’all to always be on the preaching side of things!

Okay Croton
Get back to me after you learn to read parentheses

Just because some civilians go hungry, die, or flee does not make a conflict genocide. That is the normal consequences of war.

In order for it to be genocide, the goal needs to be the elimination of said civilians. Intent and purpose is a key element. Consequences can be similar but the consequences are not the only element.

Approximately 1/3 of all those killed in Gaza were Hamas fighters. In an urban conflict with Hamas hiding behind civilians that is shows that the IDF is going to extraordinary lengths to minimize civilian deaths. Compare that Hamas specifically targeting unarmed civilians on Oct 7.

Simple question
, in what way does blocking aid help the iof if their war is supposedly against hamas
In what way does "sniping" down journalists help the iof in their supposed war against hamas
In what way does targeting clearly civilians help them

> In order for it to be genocide, the goal needs to be the elimination of said civilians. Intent and purpose is a key element. Consequences can be similar but the consequences are not the only element.
Again if iof goal wasn't to genocide civilians why would they bomb areas they declare safe areas
Or shooting clearly civilians gatherings
In what way does this help their "goal" in fighting hamas
> Approximately 1/3 of all those killed in Gaza were Hamas fighters. In an urban conflict with Hamas hiding behind civilians that is shows that the IDF is going to extraordinary lengths to minimize civilian deaths.
Again 1/3 of the kills are children
We know also that for every hamas militant two children and one man and one woman dies
> Compare that Hamas specifically targeting unarmed civilians on Oct 7.
I'll be using your same arguments for this
We know that about 30% of Oct 7th deaths are friendly fire
We also know among the civilians gatherings there were a few militants and hamas was targeting those and the other civilians were caught in cross fire
In order for it to be genocide, the goal needs to be the elimination of said civilians. Intent and purpose is a key element. Consequences can be similar but the consequences are not the only element. Why would hamas want to kill civilians, it doesn't benefit them at all
See how ur arguments can also be used for hamas
