PushNews / Alert when my favorite players are playing

Hello,
i like to watch the games by Carlsen, Alireza etc.
So that i don't miss any of their games, a feature would be helpful that tells me that they are starting a game.

Wow didnt knew that exists, sadly only for chrome as it seems.

What happened with this feature request?

When a player you follow is playing, there is a little TV icon next to their name on the bottom right of your screen.

yes, of course..... but you only see it, when you look in the list "friends online".
You have to look permanently in this list....to see they are starting a game.
This is not useful.
