lichess has no functional reporting and banning system

@Erisian the factors listed in the FAQ are the only factors that matter for refunds, nothing else, period.
1 it's not up to you to know what happens to your reports. When you write a report, you do it to report bad behavior and help the Lichess community, the report is "private" since it only concerns you and the Lichess mods.
I personally find that explaining what happened to a report is particularly bad, it would mean committing additional bad behavior instead of correcting it in a confidential manner. if there are more banned people on the green site, that means more cheaters, so it's not very effective either, more over a site where there is so much scandal (even among professionals) deserves the name of chess tabloid and not chess server.

2. you cannot decide who to play against, for example if you block players and you no longer play them, imagine if a player blocks 499 people who frequently play in the same tournaments as him, this means that if your proposal is listened to, this player will no longer be able to face the 499 people blocked so he will be much more favored if he plays in a tournament, especially if he is a player strong enough to win tournaments.

3. Maybe ethically, the games lost to cheaters should be voided and awarded no points, but I think out of fairness to players who spent time playing against a player who was cheating it is necessary to reimburse points, it is fairer to do it like this, Lichess does it well.
the Lichess cheat detection system has the advantage of being managed by humans, there is always a human who examines each report, which is not always the case on the green site since it is sometimes algorithms that handles basic requests. if Lichess is more "flexible" according to you, it is because there is always a human who analyzes and who can or cannot confirm the decision to ban, Lichess gives players the possibility of writing an appeal to contest a decision and Lichess doesn't have to report numbers like "how many accounts have been banned or how many have appealed", Lichess is strong enough for players to avoid receiving public shaming even if these players had a bad behavior.

4 the green site is a large-scale company which makes a lot of profits without worrying too much about the happiness of the players, for them, only the pros who are influential for sponsorship must be happy, the green site is not bad, it is rather good, but it has the fault of being a banal site, like the others, besides Elon Musk would be an ideal investor to rename the green site to chessXgreen or somethings like that, while Lichess will always be Lichess
Greeting
well there aint rampant cheating and reporting someone will triggrer investigation for sure but people reports really silly things. If you thing you run into cheater it does not mean you actually did.

No Scala expert but I did not find and 'if has reported' from there. just scanning trough list of players eligible for refund. So still no : you get the refund regardless whether you reported or not.

Hang on buddy, don't block me yet. Let me get my camera and take one last ussie of us together before you block me.

Your comfort zone is clear, defenitely not my taste I prefer caviar but I understand the call of nature and of course respect your "refined palatum" as long as it is a matter of taste and does not bother others. Your rights end where someone else's right being, that is not censorship. Regarding your claim that I take my "Host" to Court I am also part of the house and I want a better house than we have now specially regarding the TOS, transparency in all fields and improvements why does it bother so much ? The current status quo is not just bad, it is evil in many aspects. The phantasy that everything is "fine" and lichess is the "best" and nothing is ever wrong or "no rampant cheating going on (here I have to laugh)" is a lie, this is no fake news, it is vox populi. Make me believe otherwise with real figures of course from 3rd. party and I take back, but I seriously doubt it, so this is not the false statements you make about censorship to those who do not think the same, that is kindergarden expressions to kindergarden users, never mind, just wanted to make things clear, now go back to your comfort zone in your neverland you are dismissed of your pseudo-guardian duties.
@Artem-Kozirev you said in #58, that my credibilty was at stake. I'm not credible, I'm banned.
And lichess detected my cheating method, while chess.com still haven't. The same for chessfriends and playchess.
So @Erisian you can't say their methods are better.
@username2 One name does not make a spring still @Erisian proposals are absolutely valid.
Your case is a study case and shows why lichess and others fail with the cheaters, they have the wrong attitude towards cheaters, a punishment which is ridiculous, a lose lose situation, the brains here unable to think out of the box and so self satisfied looking at their belly button so as not to listen.

Of course I can. I play on other sites. I know what it's like on other chess sites vs here. And in my direct experience I encounter less cheaters and see them handling it in a smarter way.
