Possible Timeout Bug

I was playing a game where it clearly showed the other user ran out of time 00:00.00 in red but it called the game a draw for some reason. It was confusing as I clearly won on time.

It's a draw because you don't have mating material (i.e., a pawn, a rook, a queen, two bishops, a bishop and a knight, or any combination of the aforementioned options).
Ever since an update a while back, a knight would have also worked (provided your opponent had a pawn or something).
Right. See article 9.7 of FIDE chess rules:

9.7
The game is drawn when a position is reached from which a checkmate cannot occur by any possible series of legal moves. This immediately ends the game, provided that the move producing this position was in accordance with Article 3 and Articles 4.2 – 4.7.
Yes Checkmate-Master is corret however certain positions which you can win at (such as Bishop + King vs Pawn + Pawn) is actually still a draw according to the Fide Handbook.
