My first request is a basic conditional premove that would be most useful in a 10+0 type of game. In my head, it would work by moving one of your opponent's pieces to set the condition (IF he moves Nf3...) and then moving your response (...THEN I play d4). If he doesn't play the conditional move, then the premove isn't played either. Unconditional premoves would still work as they do now, and both could be canceled by clicking the board again.
The second feature request (and I am hesitant to bring this up) is based on the one thing that I go to other chess sites for: chess literature. My idea is that all players can create one blog post every, say, day or so, and all of these could be searched for and filtered in the same way as studies. Furthermore, like streamers, lichess could choose a few authors to have their (er, a link to their) articles featured the homepage whenever they have an article less than, say, four hours old. Further developments might include the ability to comment on articles/blog posts with a liches s account. I personally would suggest that a "Blogs" button be placed under the "Community" tab and that lichess users would have a "Blogs" link to their personal posts next to their personal "Tournament points" and "Studies" and such.
To both the community at large and the developers: are these good ideas? Would they be reasonably easy to implement? Any additional suggestions or thoughts in general? Thanks!
P.S. Lichess is still way better than those other unnamed sites that I go to for literature, regardless of whether my suggested features are implemented or not.
