Features that would make lichess perfect and complete

A simple way to do it shortly could be using the two- or three letter code all languages have (in your case, it would be «de|en»). It's just a string to display in the pop-up user window (on Android), where the languge used to be.

It can be set on the profile page, but it's too messy loading that during a game (and, let's be honest, how many even think about modifying their profile page?).

Yes, please!!
The features in this thread are stupid. The missing features are things like a keyboard shortcut to make any random legal move. This will make chess much much more interesting, as when both players only have a couple of seconds on the clock, the position will start to matter less and less.

All of them are stupid? You have a country flag on your profile, what is wrong with making that a bit more visible and encouraging users to set one?

I have answered about your suggestion in the specific thread you opened.
lol sorry stuppid is a bit harsh. I juast don't care about flags or making them visible personally sorry
Yo I just thjought of a new feature that would make the lichess board game even closer to perfect. It's already great, but this would be fantastic. Whenever we click a piece to make a move, our mouse made some path on the board, starting with a click and then a release. Or a finger tap and then a release. Whichever the case, if the move we ACTUALLY played is not legal, please play the CLOSEST legal move. That is, whichever legal path was CLOSEST to the one you drew, play that move. That would be pretty trivial to code up, and make time scrambles much much better. That way we never lose tons of time ever. We could even randomly click around and it would make closest legal moves to mate. This is not cheating right? Thank you.

This would be the perfect addition to lichess.org.

In fact, a proof that English isn't universal is that you used an automatic translation for my message... and you got it wrong (perhaps) because the automatic translation is so bad!

No i didnt used it, my english is just bad. But thats the point. I can understand people, i learned english just playing this games and other stuff in internet.
Someone knows how can we make a reality the language list in the profile pop-up/summary?
This kind of request reminds me of a similar one I did about 5 years ago. Basically, we're lucky to have the possibility of a thumbs up sign on posts. No way will they institute profile pictures. It's all part of some political philosophy of the owners that thinks anyone who wants not to be anonymous is kind of weird :D
@VanCoco @Oxartum
There is an addon you can get for lichess to display people's country flag who have not enabled it. It doesn't work for everyone but it shows a lot more than without it.
