Two of the dirty dozen are in the CL final, with billionaire owners who have blood on their hands? I think most neutrals will be rooting against one of them more than the other, and this will be the first CL final in quite some time that I'll happily forgo watching.
But i prefer Manchester city to win the UCL

aren't you quite bored of watching all of these games in the premier league? I dont think anybody is winning over any soccer fans right now. Its the first time that Chelsea and Real Madrid have met in 23 years, and the two semifinals were by far the most exciting games I have watched ever since covid. I only get the premier league and champions league, but if the super league were added, I would be able to watch all of the top players around europe.
Im a fan of Real Madrid, but I know Chelsea had played better and as gavity said, the only thing that matters its to see good soccer. So im sad that my team lost but im also glad because I was able to see a very nice game between both.
I completely agree. What we need is more matches between top sides like these.
@gavity Because the point of the sport is that if you perform well, you earn a spot in the Champions League. If you don't perform well, you don't. The principle alone that certain teams are perpetual kings at the top of the heap is disgusting.
In practice, it's also laughable with their choices: Arsenal, Tottenham, City, and Atletico Madrid never even won the Champions League. Arsenal haven't even qualified in five years.
Yet they have a permanent spot over Ajax, a four time winner and a team that made the semis just a couple of years ago? Over Porto, a team that's won twice and made the quarter finals twice recently?
Not to mention Bayern, Dortmund and PSG who told the Super League who outright told the Super League to go to hell.
I'm not bored with the Premier League because I rarely watch the Premier League. But you know what would be boring? The Super League, with 75% of the same teams year after year, no matter how poorly they perform or how amazingly well other teams do.
They tried to ruin the sport just so their owners can get a little bit richer. They showed zero regard for the sport, so I have zero regard for them. They can all fuck right off for all I care.
