In the spirit of the "LM title" and the trophies awarded, the Lichess playing experience would be enriched by having an unified achievements page in a nice platform instead of just in the corner of the page. It would also allow to enhance the number of possible achievements.

There could be hard-to-earn long-term achievements that are always there to be earned. There could also be time-sentisitive ones, related to certain tournaments or specific challenges. There could be very specific achievements/trophies too, like win X number of games with the King's Gambit.
Lots of ideas, and I would absolutely love all of this kind of stuff.

That's a good idea. But the trophies currently awarded are hard to achieve so they're valuable. Specially unique trophies which are to represent doing something extraordinary. Tho I like having cool trophies which increase motivation in players.
I've been looking forward to see that on a chess website... This one could be the first.
We actually thought about it briefly a while back. I think it would be desirable just to clear up some of the trophy clutter from profile pages, and reward lesser successes. But the profile needs a redesign anyway, and an achievement system could probably be a part of that.
There is even a very large list of potential achievements that Clarkey drew up in summer 2014, though I don't find it very satisfactory (it amounts to playing a lot of games, for the most part).

A button for achievements that looked something like

where the numbers in parenthesis gave a quick count of (special trophies, tournament trophies, other achievements) that when clicked showed all trophies with details like date acquired would be good.
